EarlyParrot via its integration with ActiveCampaign can:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>populate custom fields for any contact inActiveCampaign CMS<\/li>\n<li>add tags to any contact inActiveCampaign CMS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How to integrate ActiveCampaign?<\/h2>\n<p>ActiveCampaign can be integrated from the integrations tab for your specific campaign.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-612 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.earlyparrot.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"594\" height=\"353\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On switching on the ActiveCampaign Integration, you will be requested for\u00a0<strong>two important pieces of information:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ActiveCampaign account name (How to <a href=\"https:\/\/help.activecampaign.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/207341950-What-is-my-account-name-\">get my\u00a0ActiveCampaign account name<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Key for the account (<a href=\"https:\/\/help.activecampaign.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/207317590-Getting-started-with-the-API\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">How to get API key in ActiveCampaign<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-611 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.earlyparrot.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"908\" height=\"335\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On entering these two fields, EarlyParrot will try to connect to your ActiveCampaign account. If successful, the following message will appear on top.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-613 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.earlyparrot.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"726\" height=\"358\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On\u00a0successfully connecting EarlyParrot with your ActiveCampaign account you should go ahead and fill in different accordions with several settings as follows.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-614 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.earlyparrot.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/4.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"949\" height=\"492\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There are two kinds of settings that EarlyParrot will require:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Custom field name (please make sure you have already created these custom fields in ActiveCampaign). Check out <a href=\"https:\/\/help.activecampaign.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/221433307-Custom-fields\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">how to create a custom field in ActiveCampaign<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Tag names<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>EarlyParrot will populate custom fields and add a tag whenever an event happens. For instance, when a new reward is given out to a referrer, EarlyParrot will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>create a new tag if it does not exist with the reward&#8217;s name<\/li>\n<li>add that tag to the contact in ActiveCampaign<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>By populating custom fields and adding tags, EarlyParrot can trigger automation in ActiveCampaign.<\/p>\n<h2>How to create a custom field and add it to EarlyParrot settings?<\/h2>\n<p>To create a custom field in ActiveCampaign please follow this tutorial:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/help.activecampaign.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/221433307-Custom-fields\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">how to create a custom field in ActiveCampaign<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Please make sure that all custom fields are of Text type. Once you have created all custom fields, you are now ready to input them in the EarlyParrot settings as follows:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-444 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.earlyparrot.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/infusionsoft-integraton-6.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"791\" height=\"189\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Please make sure you copy the Personalization tag without the beginning and ending %.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-856\" src=\"http:\/\/www.earlyparrot.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/personalization-tag.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"717\" height=\"170\" \/><\/p>\n<p>So in this case, rather than pasting ep_sharepage_url or ep_referral_url in EarlyParrot, you have to use EPSHAREPAGEURL and EPREFERRALURL.<\/p>\n<p>Click <strong>Save button<\/strong>, to save the ActiveCampaign integration.<\/p>\n<h2>How to make EarlyParrot add a custom tag to ActiveCampaign contacts?<\/h2>\n<p>ActiveCampaign does not require you create tags prior to adding them to any contacts. Tags are added just right after an event happens at EarlyParrot such as a new reward is awarded, a new subscriber has been added and\/or a new referred subscriber has been added. EarlyParrot adds tags so as to trigger automation in your ActiveCampaign account.<\/p>\n<h2>How to add subscribers to both ActiveCampaign and EarlyParrot?<\/h2>\n<p>Please note that EarlyParrot will not add subscribers to your ActiveCampaign account. EarlyParrot will only add tags and populate custom fields to your ActiveCampaign contacts, assuming that the contact already exists. This means that your existing sign-up flow by which subscribers are added to your ActiveCampaign account via an ActiveCampaign form should remain as is.<\/p>\n<p>This can be easily achieved by adding a Javascript code to your sign-up page. Through this Javascript code, new subscribers are submitted to EarlyParrot prior being submitted to\u00a0ActiveCampaign. EarlyParrot will wait for\u00a0<strong>1 minute before<\/strong> populating the initial custom fields and adding the first tags, giving enough time to ActiveCampaign to process the new contact.<\/p>\n<p>To integrate EarlyParrot with your landing page, we recommend you use Google Tag Manager. Google Tag Manager makes it easier to handle and tweak your EarlyParrot integration. So to get started follow these steps.<\/p>\n<p>Log into your Google Tag Manager and go to <strong>Triggers<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-468 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.earlyparrot.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/gtm-landing-page-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"233\" height=\"446\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Create a new trigger new Page View trigger.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-471 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.earlyparrot.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/gtm-landing-page-10.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"618\" height=\"309\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Call it <strong>EarlyParrot Subscriber Page Trigger<\/strong>. Set the trigger condition to make sure it triggers only on the subscribe page URL.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-562 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.earlyparrot.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/infusionsoft-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1101\" height=\"405\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Once done, create another trigger.
